Woman Critically Injured In Milwaukee Hit-And-Run

A 22-year-old woman is in critical condition after being hit by a hit-and-run driver early Thursday morning.

According to police, the woman was crossing North Avenue when a black sedan that was heading south on Farwell Avenue struck her and continued driving. She was taken to a local hospital and is reported to be in critical condition from her injuries.

Police arrested 25-year-old Douglas W. Davis of Milwaukee in connection with the hit-and-run. He is facing one count of striking a person causing great bodily harm.
