Green Bay Man Faces Fourth OWI After Crash

A Green Bay man faces his fourth drunk driving offense in five years after falling asleep driving, waking up and crashing into a semi tractor trailer.

According to reports, 39-year-old Jason Zirbel fell asleep while driving northbound on Interstate 43 at W. County Line Road and drove off the highway, onto a grassy area. He then veered back into traffic, where he collided with a semi tractor trailer just after 1 p.m.

Zirbel was convicted of three prior OWIs and if convicted, he faces up to six years in prison.
