According to reports, the 68-year-old was killed when a straight truck pulling a plastic tank of fertilizer had a tire blow and the driver lost control of the truck. The vehicle crossed over the left lane, through the median and crossed into the westbound lanes. The accident occurred just after 10 a.m.

According to wisn.com, the truck was pulling 3,500 gallons of fertilizer.

All westbound lanes were closed for several hours while the accident was investigated and cleaned up. One other person was injured in the crash as well, but there was no word on their condition.
